Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services is expanding our non-emergency communications call center and is seeking qualified individuals to fill full time dispatcher positions.
The communications dispatcher position is responsible for:
- Answering and prioritizing non-emergency calls
- Dispatching appropriate personnel and equipment while maintaining accurate documentation using multiple software programs and dispatching systems.
- Providing excellent customer service
Qualifying education: High school diploma or GED
Work experience should include Customer service, call-taking, multi-tasking, general computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Position Requirements: Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
The work rotation is currently set with four days off after each rotation of four 12-hour shifts
The position of full-time communications dispatcher starting annual salary is: $42,900
