Full time field Paramedics

 

The Paramedic provides physical assessment and interpretation of patient condition and administers appropriate basic and advanced life support treatment in both non-emergency and emergency situations and mentors EMTs.

 

Required for interview: Colorado Paramedic, ACLS, and BLS certifications. ICS 100, 200 NIMS 700

 

Other:

Must be able to respond to on-call with-in 1 hour of call in.

Must be able to work current schedule of 24 hour shifts on a modified Kelly.

Must be able to complete 6-month training without planned absences.

 

 

Benefits:

Current annual salary range – $54,000 – $85,000, with step increases after 4, 8 and 12 years.

Employee retirement contribution with employer match, 100% vested after 3 years full time employment.

PTO accrual beginning at full time hire date, available after 6 months.

Full & Part time communications dispatchers

Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services is expanding our communications call center and is seeking qualified individuals to fill the positions of full time and part time communications dispatchers.

The communications dispatcher position is responsible for:

• Answering and prioritizing non-emergency calls
• Dispatching appropriate personnel and equipment while maintaining accurate documentation using multiple software programs and dispatching systems.
• Providing excellent customer service

Qualifying education: High school diploma or GED

Work experience should include: Customer service, call-taking, multi-tasking, general computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Position Requirements: Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

The full-time work rotation is currently set with four days off after each rotation of four 12-hour shifts

The position of full-time communications dispatcher starting annual salary is: $39,000
The position of part-time communications dispatcher starting hourly rate is: $17.05 per hour
